We firmly believe that dance education develops and teaches each individual participant physically, socially, emotionally, and artistically. The mission of Shaw Dance Studio is to provide a safe, nurturing and positive outlet and environment where students can reach their full potential as dancers. Our goal is for our students to become well-rounded dancers with a technical training to give them the foundation to pursue any potential career in dance, and also to develop the foundation for learning discipline, commitment, integrity, organization, and dedication in not just dance, but in all aspects of life.

  • Shaw Dance and Preschool is amazing! My daughter loved the preschool program and the great teachers. I have always found the staff to be helpful and accommodating, quickly and kindly helping when a need arises.   • We were frustrated with my daughter's previous dance studio, so we switched to Shaw about 2 years ago. It has been a night and day experience for us! Shaw is very organized, and my daughter has a blast in her classes. She has learned to really love dance at Shaw, and she has become so confident and creative with her movement. I love that the recitals are broken down into several smaller and shorter cast performances, and all the kiddos have a chance to shine on stage (not the same "favorites" in the front and center of the group every time). I really see that they prioritize building life skills and enjoyment through dance vs just trying to put on a big show for parents twice a year. I totally recommend this dance studio.-

  • We cannot recommend this dance studio, and preschool enough. They are truly the best of the best-so caring, and kind to my kids. They have really become an extended family to us at Shaw. They put their heart and soul into what they do, and my kids have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of dancing, and going to preschool here. The studio owner Jana is incredible, and is so hands on with all that goes on within the facility. This is such a safe, and beautiful space for my kids to go and enjoy learning. We feel so lucky to be apart of such an amazing studio!!

  • My daughter is going into her third year with Shaw and has grown so much as a dancer! She danced competitively last year and I love that they focus on technique and skills. I feel like she is developing a strong foundation. My younger daughter did the summer program recently and is now enrolled for the next year as she loved it so much. Both of my girls feel loved and supported there, and we are grateful to have found Shaw Dance!

  • Shaw Dance is incredible! My son and daughter are both in their sixth year there and we will never go anywhere else. The instructors are top notch and really care about the dancers. Everyone that works there are people I want my kids to be around and learn from. They don't just teach them dance steps, they teach them how to be wonderful humans and good members of society. And the competition teams kill it at competitions!
